About the Academy
The National Indian Youth Justice Academy is a structured and immersive program designed to provide youth with leadership development, educational growth, and hands-on training in a disciplined and supportive environment. Participants will engage in daily activities, team-based learning, and guided instruction led by experienced professionals.
Eligibility Requirements

Must be an enrolled member of a federally or state recognized Tribe
-
OR a descendant of an enrolled member of a federally or state recognized Tribe
-
Must be 13 years of age by the start of the academy
-
Must not be older than 18 years by the end of the academy
-
Must currently be enrolled in school or actively working toward a GED

Students are under adult supervision at all times

Participants are assigned to squads and must attend all scheduled activities

Daily classes and structured recreational activities
